@ba it isn't about wealth. It is about finally moving the company to be fully profitable. The offer made is rather generous since Dan wants peace with those doing the work. Those not have paid and will continue to pay until he chases out the lazy, inept and no shows.
So, share the wealth and negotiate a lucrative contract rather than boost profits of the backs of the people that do the work all the cold winter and the boiling summer.

If you talking why stock price being up - take a better look. VZ stock is looked to as a safe haven if markets are tough. Investors want safety. None of that appreciation is due to what the VZ executives are doing.
Dan will be revered as a God in business circles come the end of his tenure. His technique will be studied at top tier business schools. All shareholders will profit from his masterful work.
He’s just preparing us to be bought out. Wouldn’t be surprised if it were Elon Musk.

Dan knows what he is doing and it shows. It is so refreshing to see all kinds of useless ones gone. Anyone who denies there was an inordinate amount of employees who added little to no value here is not being honest with themselves or reality.

Enjoy the short term happiness here. This company is falling to its knees before crashes down. Alfonso and Dan will lead us to the ditch. They will take their millions, its a failing long term business. sell your stock.
