Did they bounce back?

Doing quite well with a company that values me as an employee
Was in small business. I decided to leave after 5 yrs. Best decision ever and happier than ever before. That place was toxic. Team morale was at an all time low, pay used to be good till they lowered base pay and lowered commish earnings in the middle of the Q. You’d get a quota then crush it that Q, only to have quota changed (most often increased) after the Q ended. Always had to keep track of pay as payments would decrease after Q ended, so would have to decipher what was removed and why. Headache of a place
old guy = pushed out
suxed for a while
now am happy and at peace
Living the dream since getting out.
LIFE IS GOOD!
Sh-t ton of severance and a cushy Government job. (Not US based)
got a new job within 6 months and had plenty of severance money left. WOrked out great for me. I work for a company that appreciates it's workers efforts.
I know of 2 that were laid off with Sev Packages, and they found jobs immediately and are doing much better now.
One person I worked with got a job that was equal or maybe even better.
Two other others took lower paying jobs, but seem happier because there is way less stress.
At least one guy is still unemployed over a year later.
This one guy I know is crushing it!
Noo. Why worry? I'm too busy and most were low performers. One was a god father for my child but he got into gambling. Move on. More jobs being lost monthly.
Yes, a few. They are making far more money than they did at Dell and have hybrid work policies.
Everyone I know is doing much better
Everyone I know thanks God everyday they're no longer at Dell.
They are very happy
Some are better off, but there is one that still doesn't have a bew job after 1.5 years.
Everyone I knew are doing just swell!
