Thread regarding SAP layoffs

New org - same old

on the ask me anything session. Here's a summary:
"blah blah, strategic blah blah excited, blah blah Ai, blah blah blah No Layoffs"

So hard to believe any of this, the actions of the past years do nothing to support them. The leaders are powerless, only Christian, Dominik and S/O have the power and make the cuts.

@ce life at SAP was good but things changed and unfortunately to the worse...it's not he-l either but if you want to be the best, you have to accept criticism and make the necessary changes....
AI hype has created a panic situation in major companies, when one of them takes a decision all the others feel they have to do something in order not to lose an opportunity.

Innovation at SAP is becoming bad, we don't know who's responsible but you Adapt est c'est pas mal.

When all your strategic thought leadership and executive charisma is replaced by German bureaucracy and McKinsey, things can only become uninspiring, bleed talent, lose market, and go downhill.

@ce I expect to have a defined job role, consistent direction, and a leadership team that is capable of accepting feedback.

My expectations are apparently far too high. What are reasonable expectations in your opinion?

Please do not be so negative. SAP is a good company. The board may not be perfect, but no board of any company ever is.

If you set realistic expectations, you will see that life at SAP is very, very good.
