Anyone know of any successful IM disputes?

HR exists to protect management and the company. They are not your advocate, not for any circumstance. Their role - as I've experienced - is to ensure no legal issues exist surrounding the adverse action. They'll document the reasons in case you hire an attorney and then call you to tell you "sorry but it cannot be changed".
I understand it doesn't feel right. But that's the way it works at WF.
I tried very hard to get it reversed to no avail. HR does not care.
Not a chance. All they have to do is document a reason why and it’s a done deal. You can try fighting it but it will only land you on a list for the next round. Employees are force ranked every year.
Not a chance of changing it. Just contacted by HR to tell me that mine would not be changed. It's a big joke, HR reviews the cases, It's their mgmt chain that made the directive. I'm ready to play the IM game. No raise, no bonus, Then no weekends or extra effort on my part.
It won't get reversed. It was put on you to mark you for exit. Be smart and prepare.

Agree this is the thing.
I am dealing with my IM now and manager is going through the paces to improve my needs improvement. It's all dog and pony at this point as I expect to get performanced out because they don't have the $$$ do displace all of us.
You’re focusing on the wrong priority. You already suspect what is coming. You need to stop worrying about holding on to this role. Start networking and getting your resume together. It is awful. But once it happens and you process, you’ll see what a positive this is. Good luck.

LMAO
The system is not designed to do that. Your manager isn't just being a d-ck and singling people out for IMs for fun (in most cases). Their managers told them give x-number IMs on your reviews period. If your manager refuses then their manager goes well then your the IM. IMs become the displacement that advance CS's objective. HR is completely aware that's happening and they are only doing theater with reviews to mitigate the risk of lawsuits or negative action from government regulators.
I have mine currently in process. The rep said it can take up to 45 days.
I have heard of someone else getting it overturned, though; they had already left the bank.
not a one
No such thing. HR does nothing but refer you to mgr to resolve. A big circlej--kIt is planned at all levels to get you to quit or end up terminated if you do not leave on your own. Mgt will lie to your face and gas-light.
