Anyone else who was laid off on 12/19 get their cell phone shut off? I tried calling 800-922-0204 and it referred me to the VZ internal website that I can no longer access

@t9 sorry, you are wrong , just did this in December . I’m speaking from actual experience, Only ever had 1 number and it was on a concession line . Asked my Director if I could move it to my personal account , answer was yes , filled out the form , they got an e mail to sign it . It went to concessions dept and 72 hours later my phone number was waiting for me on my personal account . I bought a 17 for it and I’m texting on it right now . The end . All the instructions in the severance checklist .
OP , at this point you should phone a friend still at work and ask them to e mail concessions on your behalf . Try concessionsupport@verizonwireless.com
@rq Not having your own cell phone is your problem and HR doesn't care.
@r2 You would be wrong. Verizon pays and owns those numbers. The departments gets phone bills.
I am still waiting to hear back down the concessions team. I’ve emailed them and hr expressing how important it is since I don’t have a working phone but there’s been no urgency on their end. I’m livid at this point.
Phone numbers belong to people, not places . You can port over your company phone number , I did so .
You trolls are wrong STHU
@g8 wrong, 20+ year it's verizons number. Shouldn't have been used for personal
@jn it's not your number and your old boss has no say before or now
@js it's not your number
Can anyone share the email address to concessions team? I called the 800-922-0204 number and entered my old number that was disconnected and it routed me to go to the vzweb concessions URL. I tried logging into it but it is an internal employee site I no longer have access to. I have a consumer account so I’ll try calling the main number tomorrow to see if they can add my line to this account so I can keep my number.
Former employee here,
Does anyone have a way to reach the concessions team? Phone or email would be great. My service and phone was shut down. My boss said I should be able to pay the non-return fee for the device. Hopefully they can remove it from the negative list and bill me for it. I've had it a few years.
@db Best to e mail concessions to get specific on what’s up with the form . Same thing happened to me, but I followed up in writing and got a reply . I had filled out the form incorrectly and had to submit another one . Their office hours are short, like 9:00 to 2:00 . My first clue was my boss got nothing to approve . You do have to move fast , or your phone number will be reused .
@f2 it was my # before i started at VZ
The number is mine and I brought it over to VZ 20+ years ago - so all I wanted was to have my # transferred to my vz personal account. Seems easy. I’ll take advantage of the 50% discount for another year then port out to boost mobile
Why even want to do that? Verizon is very expensive with the worst customer service from India
@db you dropped the ball.
@db good they released the number that is not yours.
I filled the form out and was waiting for them to contact me. I never was contacted then yesterday the phone went out of service. I tried calling the concession dept yesterday around 330-4 est and couldn’t get a hold of anyone live. So here I sit with no phone in service and I’m worried they’ll release my number for someone else to get
@OP to transfer your consession device to personal, there was a link in the severance check list and a google form to fill out . When completed and submitted correctly, form went to concession team , and a confirmation e mail sent to you they were working on it , and may take up to 72 hours because of volume . Then your number transferred to your personal account with another e mail it was complete and waiting for your upgrade . Any of this sound familiar ?
I filled out a form before I left and never heard anything after asking my old boss over and over and he had no update
Did you move it to your EPP?
