Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

The Castle is Crumbling

Why it's the leadership at the top not held accountable. They created this disastrous outcome, and we the working employees are paying the ultimate price by losing our jobs and dignity. It's a very sad and heartbreaking day for a lot of good people!

Executives, VPs, and Directors should be accountable and shown the door first.

It’s wild watching them bring in “turnaround” CFO leadership with a very questionable track record who doesn’t underhand the reports and they have to be simplified for him to comprehend and even then it’s hard, pair them with an appointed technical leader who talks a great game. Believes they are EMT and needs there admin (laughable) but can’t execute let alone understand anything technical , and then act shocked when performance tanks. You can’t ignore basic finance discipline, systems reality, and operational truth and then blame the workforce when results follow.

At some point you have to ask: was this a strategy… or just expensive chaos with executive titles that gutted us?

Same reason why politicians never vote against giving themselves a pay raise regardless of the state of the Union. Leadership isn’t going to end their own gravy train. Why make a decision that works against your own self interests?

I have never understood why executives aren’t held to the same standards as medical professionals. Doctors can be sued for malpractice, yet executives can commit gross negligence, harm thousands, and face no real accountability—just a golden parachute and on to their next job.

lol it’s not their fault. It never is. They will blame Covid, tariffs, interest rates, and maybe even the Epstein files. As they cash their rsu and paychecks.
