Kevin O’Leary, a real investor with actual companies laid out why forcing people into offices is a losing strategy:

“If you’re trying to say to people, ‘Oh, you got to work in an office,’ you’ll just get the bottom quartile of people who have no choice.”

@eg AT&T needs non questioning robotic low ingenuity drones to keep it afloat as they are backwards and operate like is 1945. Working from an office is perfect for the as anyone with as little self respect to subject themselves to do that for positions that don’t require that insight up their alley.

@c1 Grandpa forgot his meds again. Time to retire and make room for the people who know how to actually work without needing an adult babysitter staring at them all day.

I agree with Mr Wonderful, but Stank isn’t worried about productivity. His only concern is dumping headcount at all costs to massage the financials. Even if those costs are destroying the company. Instead of pump and dump, Stank is king of dump and run!

Agree. My question would be what level of talent do you need for our basic infrastructure? Large part of our business that is or has become like the water company. Eliminating copper, CO’s, etc. and anyone can see the writing on the wall for that part of the business.
