Amazon also posted losses for YEARS before they posted a profit so this is a d-mb argument. OpenAI has over 800 million weekly active users. They could start to charge people $10 a month and likely retain over 2/3s of the users. Even if they only retain a third of the users at that price point they will make tens of trillions in revenue. Cut it to $5 a month and it's still trillions in revenue.
Oracle used to be very concerned with customer satisfaction scores. At least the support groups I worked in were. From the sounds of things, customer satisfaction is not a consideration any more, if some of this reporting is to be believed.
Some of this reporting is suggesting Oracle could be cutting support for "legacy" and on prem... What is considered "legacy"? Database? Enterprise Manager? Non-cloud Exadata? Products that companies large and small run their businesses with, for which they are paying hefty licensing and support fees?
Ankle grabbing time again.
India is also getting big rif starting next Friday
Add Cerner to list of companies taking Oracle to its Pit.
All for OpenAi who has not published any profits since it was created and funded by debt and collatarals.
OpenAi will take Oracle to its Pit.
