APAC has had the reputation of toxicity for some time. Is this a complete change of guard we should be looking for? Is there light at the end of the tunnel for some of us, regardless what is going on globally. Keen to hear everyone’s perspective

He was the last good one left! Now you have what??? A CEO with an IQ of around 45… just listen to the guy try to speak intelligently about our business. What a joke.
He has landed at NTT now.
Good riddance. He's made a bundle so he doesn't care. Sadly, his departure is not enough to save this rotting carcas of a company. legacy accounts locked in with legacy software. DXC is going to be a business case for MBAs. It's a great example of how, as an executive, you can enrich yourself while the business fails. DXC captains dont go down with the ship, they simply get the crew to build them a life raft full of the ships provisions.
Verizon Business is not a real IT services capability. When have you seen them at your client. They are not at any of my clients
Just did a bot of digging on Verizon in AsiaPac and this came up from Google Gemi:
Challenges and Opportunities
Despite the positive growth, Verizon faces challenges such as a persistent labor shortage in cybersecurity talent. However, the company is adapting by broadening its search for candidates with foundational digital skills, which may help mitigate this issue.
Overall, Verizon is well-positioned for continued growth in the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging its technological advancements and strategic partnerships.
So if they’re ‘well positioned for continued growth’ why leave a company like that and come to a company that doesn’t appear to have the same objectives? Its probably the pay and benefits that were offered
They do say that s hit attracts flys ... Not surprised. TR adding this guy after ram not. Company decline to speed up.
In this company monkey business is a core job function.
This company is beyond a joke - The new anointed leader to replace stealam is coming from a few yet another company in serious decline - only difference being he will bring his own people in - good luck all!!!
New su---r in the chair, only across APJ and reports one level lower into the chief revenue officer. Of course focus on growth, the usual press rhetoric. All was not well, now divided into regions, so exposed the shell game of Steal ‘em and band of thieves. Let the scramble and position jockeying begin. So many average “leaders” to drive out incompetence from insurance to ITO. Though riding a 3 legged donkey will not win the Melbourne cup!
Looks like another "growth" expert has now replaced him. So many come in with past "growth" experience, go-to-market experience and the rest of the 'ra ra' but seems in DXC they grow squat.... other than their salary package.
Stealam - the carefully curated post from global communications, points to the how is going to lead the team now and who is out. The noticeable people in his leadership team are OUT! No word of the cloud or security offerings - it’s lights out! Cya Stealam - leaving just like so many key accounts over the past 12 years. Leaving the place worse than when you started, sensational achievement.
He will be missed for his dynamic leadership.
and his unerring ability to shrink sales no matter how many extra countries/territories were added to his portfolio! (ANZ, then APAC added with no improvement, so MEA added and exact same outcome)
Our beloved leader is called Maserati "Wheelan".
He will be missed for his dynamic leadership.
