Severance is 8 weeks + 2 weeks/year worked, upto max of 26 weeks.
Is the garden leave considered as the initial 8 weeks?
If not, max severance is 8 weeks of garden leave + 26 weeks of severance, right?

This thread was posted to get clarity on the garden leave and initial 8 week policy.
If they are not the same, the other thread has incorrect info.
8 weeks starts after garden leave. You are technically still an employee until the garden leave is over.
@am If you've been laid off you already know what the terms of your severance are because it's covered in your paperwork. If you've not what do you care.
So looks like everyone impacted are getting WARN act pay through 4/1 or 4/2. Can anyone impacted please confirm the actual date?
Then 2 weeks additional severance per year of service (max of 26 weeks total). Question....Does the 26 max weeks include the 8 week garden leave? Or does the max of 26 weeks start after the 4/1 or 4/2 date?

@ac there's literally an active thread right now that explains what you're asking
@a6 - Severance is subjected to change. I did check company Severance guidelines but that guidelines were 3 years ago. So please shut the f**d if you can not share anything. Time is tough for everyone and dont try to be a F smarts.
read the other threads on this site. full details were posted. lazy people making new threads to talk about the same thing over and over
For those recently impacted, their access was shut off the same day. However, their last day worked was April 1 or 2 (I forget). That is when severance starts, starting with thise 8 weeks. I had thought it was 4 wks + 1 wk for every year, but I may be remembering wrong.
@OP All of the company “internal” info is on the HR portal. You can contact HR with questions.
