VZ didn't get rid of anything. DEI was rebranded as "Culture and Community." Look up Spring Lacy's org on Inside Verizon.

Funny that this mess started while the massive technological might of Verizon India was asleep. Like the old song goes “Everybody wants to rule the world…” But if you don’t have the keys, you can’t even start the car.

Dei is the destruction of every politically correct company. The dei hires are the loads that can’t get hired anywhere else. Verizon was given tax breaks to hire these loads. Now that these tax “incentives “ were removed, these losers are no longer needed. Bye bye
I heard it was outsourcing that caused it again. Testing something they shouldn’t have been testing.
That’s 2 times now in the last few months Verizon been embarrassed in the national news because of outsourcing… Of course Dan lacks integrity to admit part of this (decision to outsource) was on him, and does not want to take any responsibility for this. He will point the finger at someone else. Oh I forgot will say nonsense paraphrasing “things happen”.
Based on the time it recovered I bet it was an experienced tech in American tech that fixed it. Just saying…
