From T-mobile site..10,000 cut???

10,000 getting cut
Was just told at 3pm today 1/15 access is getting cut off for 10,000 people at T-Mobile who are all part of a mass layoff. Not sure how accurate 10,000 is but I know for a fact my ex-wife is part of this.

Not that any questions about this will be asked or answered on the earnings cc in a couple of weeks but interesting things are/have happened since the last one.

Nah. Cut a little here, cut a little there. RTO and keep everyone so miserable in between that hopefully folks quit and we don't have to pay. We're doing all this to try and not pay severance, benefits, etc. It's the "cross your fingers" approach. Really strategic coming from our former chief strategy officer.

I agree they should just rip the bandaid off, but the stock is teatering, so that would only signal weakness in the business and cause it to drop faster. Not to mention, they’d much rather make your lives more miserable so you voluntarily leave without a severance.

I think Stink and his crew get off on making the peasant squirm. So there is also that.

At least T-Mo CEO has the ba--s to make cuts like a man and call it like it is!! Instead of being a slimmy ba----d, employing every tactic he can think of to cover up and skirt the law, just to get rid of employees.

A few rounds like this would help T get to its end state of 75,000 employees real quick.
