Hey guys, I’m hearing that around some time this year AT&T will be hiring for premier service consultant work from home again. Has anyone heard this same info on customer service jobs continuing work from home ?

It looks like every center but 10 centers of excellence are being closed. 5 have been announced to close in march. In the 5 that have been announced every rep is being offered permanent WFH. Managers are being given an option to move to Richardson Texas and be vcc managers or take a severance. Admin and other positions are being offered similar. No one is getting relocation help. They aren’t hiring wfh because they need managers to cover vcc and will lose more managers due to follow the work than they can afford. There is a whole area in Richardson where they are hiring vcc managers to handle the upcoming load. Get with your union reps. Make sure your voices are heard.
They will only be hiring under the Hybrid PSC. 3 days in office and 2 from home. They havent hired permanent WFH in years and prob never will.
I heard they are letting all the mobility WFH reps go when their contract is up. They haven’t hired for the position in a while. This is full time WFH. Not hybrid.
I'm hearing that layoffs will continue.
All jobs will transition to 3 days or WFH or the company will collapse
