I remember what was. When there were more jobs in the US than overseas. When teams had enough people to do the work. When you didn’t have to work a 12 hour day. When raises were decent. When people were treated as humans not disposable resources. When managers gave a Fk. When we didn’t have lay offs every quarter just to have them. When I actually enjoyed my job.
