Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Dates to Remember

Reviews come out in mid January

Compensation and Promotions come out end of January

Possibly, reviews can be delayed to do them with compensation.

You probably may know about a promotion before it happens.

So quit flipping out if you don’t know something right now.

Around here, "promotions" mean heavy boxes of glossy pamphlets that we have to put out, and then later carry out to the dumpster every couple months.

the last couple years they have been trying to separate the review convo from the comp convo. As a manager I find it easier to do both at the same time especially since we are supposed to be paying for performance, but since we don't really do that anymore I guess it's best to separate them.

With inflation, we're taking a significant pay cut. Add cost of RTO for many who have been WFH for over a decade and it's even worse.

God forbid execs taking any pay cuts. Heck, they spent $$$ that should have been given to employees on ridiculous NYC Earth, Wind and Fire concert for fan boy Charlie.

Fifty Shades of Fvcked Up at WF.

The limited comp increases will probably be effectively salary reductions due to inflation.

I’m hearing “it’s gonna be like last year.” So ok with me.
