Is there even a small chance that could be true?

@OP only people that need to be stress are people that have a counterpart at Frito that does the exact same job
Without a thorough change of leadership and culture Pepsico will continue to rotten from the inside with wide-spread corruption, dodgy dealings and indianization ! Nothing positive on the horizon until Ramon is gone and Athina stops filling senior roles with ex-Accenture folks!
How do we feel like R&D getting cuts? I feel like we have been minimally impacted the past few.
No. I highly doubt the cuts will help the business, maybe the bottom line for the short term. The people making the cuts are the same people responsible for having to make the cuts. Ironic wouldn’t you say. Pep needs real operations people running the business and that’s not going to happen this go around. When this doesn’t work, maybe. Paying attention Elliot, I hope so. you got a lot of money not making money just some dividends. Get cracking.
I’m not worried. I add value as does my team. It won’t be small though.
Those restructuring comments in the Annual Report aren’t in there for no reason.
Zero chance it’s small. It will be historic, but doesn’t mean it’s the right changes that put the company on track for better results. Good luck!
@aa Elliot must demand board ask ramon and Athina to leave. We need completely new people who have real vision and experience not a wannabe podcaster.
Hair cut for their salary is much needed now. A 70% cut is needed now at top leadership.
Yea, it won’t be small, maybe 2 out of ten. Maybe another 2 out of ten will feel the effects but still keep their job. Six of 10 it will be business as normal. It didn’t have to be this way but the company has made many bad the last couple years. Too late to go back so now we all have to deal with the consequences
Ramon is in over his head and his poor decisions are catching up. The company needs new leadership. It’s happening.
@aa that would be a historically large cut in the Fortune 100 even with our performance. What’s your source?
@aa Im sure if only Athina hires more raising stars such us infamous G-ayatri N. or her dodgy leadership team, the company can rise again!
Nothing stays the same. This is a result of past poor decisions. Bad pricing decisions, poor marketing, overloading staff with too much work, and lots of poor investment decisions. Many folks have left because this is not a comfortable place to be.
@aa it’s not just corporate roles getting cut this week
Pepsico is looking to reduce overall workforce by 20-30% corporate roles, including S&T. Too many negative consequences of poor leadership across Pepsico and S&T has brought the entire company to the poor condition that results in further layoffs, not just in Q4 but also in early 2026 already planned. Until proper leadership change Pepsico is doomed!
We’re missing plan on Frito by over a billion dollars and have shut down two manufacturing facilities in the same year. Neither of these things have ever happened before. Things are going to change FAST. Put on your seatbelt
Chances are pretty small. But your attempted optimism is adorable.
