@2hbn+1kbtc9vH Don’t sell yourself short. I’m 54 and had 12 years tenure. I left for a role two levels higher than I had here. Most companies now base PTO on tenure AND/OR position level. I lost 3 days of time off but got a near six figure comp raise. My life is incredibly less stressful. Even without the big raise, I’d gladly toss those 3 PTO days for the better atmosphere.
No reason for a young person with a career ahead of them to work here more than a couple years.
No reason for an older person with imminent retirement ahead of them to start over anywhere else.
Tenure. And I’ve worked my way up to lots of PTO. Don’t really want to start over and only get a few weeks of PTO. In addition, I know my way around , and at my age, starting a new position at the same company is one thing, but I don’t really want to start over at some other company from scratch.
I just left the dumpster fire too and coming back here is the best thing ever to know I did the right thing. Just moved out all my WF accounts too

Thankfully I don't, having left the day after my bonus payout in 2022. The grass and money has been much better at a mid-sized bank. My health insurance is 1/3 the cost of WF in monthly premiums. No RTO, no babysitting, and a legit positive culture.
WFC is in a death spiral, this C-Suite doesn't have the ba--s or ability to turn things around. I come back occasionally to this site as it's fun to see WFC burning to the ground. Burn motherforker, BURN.

This company has struggled for a long time with effective risk management and nothing ever improves and all employees suffer.
I like what I do, I like my team and my manager. Can’t stand the C Suite and their uncaring attitude towards everyone under them. It’s been bad since Chase started taking us over from the inside. Zero regard for the worker bees. Culture has gone to cr@p. Engagement in many departments and branches is in the tank. Trying to hang on for a few more years because of tenure and to do what I can to make it better. We get a pitiful merit and bonus budget, meanwhile Charles gets 20% for tanking the stock, destroying engagement. I look forward to either getting a package or retiring, whichever comes first.
I like my manager, I am paid very well, my benefits are very good, and my workload is fair.
I don’t care about what the upper manage does for the most part.
Worst company I ever worked for. Many immature and inept employees and management. After three years and lots of frustration my layoff was like a lifeboat off the Titanic lol. All you lifers and lovers of the very corrupt WF…enjoy! Super happy after I left. Feels great to breath again.

Great money for having absolutely zero college under my belt (midwayish in the 150’ish). Started as contractor on and off at the bottom over 10 to 12 years, went FTE and just hit 10 years. Every role I posted out for was a step up.
I work with a great team. I have a good manager. I am paid well. I have a lot of vacation and holidays so that I work barely more than 10 months of the year. I have worked from home for 15 years.
You're making a big presumption there. Worked at a number of other banks over my career and this is the best one I've been at. For all the angry talk why do you think this board has so much activity, people don't want off the train and laid off.
Maybe you should ask ask yourself that question.

Easiest gig ever. People in marketing squeal like stuck pigs if they have more than one project at a time or have to put in more than 2-3 hours per day. So it’s super easy to look like a superhero.
honestly, if I didn't have a few years before retirement, I would have left a couple of years ago. I'm not proud to work for WF--tho I enjoy my work before Chucky came on board and bent us all over the barrel and the steady paycheck even if they are so darn stingy with pay.
Why do I? Easy $$$$$$$$
