@b2 you might be surprised what's important to the US Government. Many times they're settling two sides of disagreement and both sides are trying to avoid sensitive issues so they give and take on unrelated BS. I've seen it several times.

Note, what is of concern to our government is Verizon illegally turning over eight sitting U.S. Senators phone records secretly to the FBI to assist spying. That abuse of powere should also concern every U.S. citizen because it could happen to you.
For that treasonous act I will never give Verizon another dollar of my personal business.
