Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Collaboration

Forced collaboration in person has actually turned me against it altogether. We get that some of you decision-makers may hate being at home or your spouse and family all together so you insist on collaborating in the office. But please remember the rest of us innocent workers you’re affecting with your selfish decision. Make better personal decisions and then you’ll enjoy life and value your time again.

Be glad you have a job. Amazing how many 2 hour both ways commutes I see posted. Right up there with all the people claiming to 18 hour days. I call BS. I have been at some bad companies where people had legitimate complaints and WF is not perfect but the level of whining is off the chart around RTO. 95% did not have WFH before Covid nonsense. Looking forward to the inevitable housecleaning where all you whiners and do little or nothing get shown the door. I doubt any of us who are carrying all of you will even know you are gone

Productivity has dropped. There's been talk in financial news, funny thing is they never mention RTO as a contributing factor. Probably not allowed to discuss it as a challenge to The Narrative.

What collaboration? I only see a bunch of people in cubes hating every minute and counting the clock til they can go home. RTO is terrible. I wonder what will happen if productivity drops big time. Will they try to fire their way out of it?

Exactly, the company BSd people by saying their meager pay was because WFH saved money so you come out ahead in the long run...then they turn around an scrap the agreement but continue the cr---y pay level. This executive team has NO shame. They disgust me. Viva la resistance!

@qkv+1kbWRqlK Don’t offer that deal! That’s how I ended up where I am today. I took a significant pay cut to take a job that allowed me to WFH. I did that , successfully, for several years, until post-COVID when I was forced to “return” to the office. The cost of commuting and parking, in addition to the wasted time, made it unaffordable on my reduced salary. I made major life decisions around the arrangement, so when we were asked to RTO, I had to find a new employer that paid more to cover that additional expense.

@wsi+1kbWRqlK

Well, you're right about the increasing number of employees that think the executives decisions are hamfisted nonsense and counterproductive.

My best collaboration occurs when working with others on RCSA (Risk and Control Self Assessment). The level of productivity and camaraderie is pure sweetness.

If you don't like it, get a job some place else and quit whining.

For real, Wells Fargo. How much of my salary do you want back to just let me work from home full-time? Let’s talk, babe. XO

Maybe they can call the EAC for their 2 free sessions and just get over that
