@dy if you were a manager that knew anything, Lowell got rid of you years ago.why are you even on here?

@dy funny you should say that I last manager used to work on an ice cream truck. His only problem was to work on an ice cream truck you have to know about ice cream ...to be a manager at Verizon in landline you don't need to know anything!

@ak I could run wireline as the sole 1st ,2nd and 3rd liner with a small amount of help from A.I....the techs do what they do and make this place run...managers just there to keep "tabs"? On techs ...maybe not even ..the managers in wireline 100% dead weight.

Frontier is adding wireline assets... wireless employees will get crushed in 2026. 10,000 rifs coming and once again Frontier Sr Execs will get millions to close the aquisition and field will be outsiurced to Tillman and within 2 years wireline divested to a New Co.

Dan will leave with $50M and Vz will create a Service Co run by Sampath.

I feel for remaining Vz managers and union.. culture is officially gone.

This direction is a result of Lowells failed aquistions and Board hiring Hans and Europe Executives to run a USA base company.

Book it!

@c1 "Nothing is permanent"?
What about the natural laws, such as gravity and physics? Or, the passage of time? The human capacity for emotion? Experiences and lessons that have shaped us? God's love? Change?

It is not 'done', and never will be. Layoffs are always going to happen in a big company, so get used to it. Nothing is permanent.
