How long does it take to get paid once you inform you want the lump sum?

I was receiving the biweekly severance payments and submitted my lump sum request once I found a new role. I submitted it the same week I received a paycheck, received one more normal paycheck, then the following paycheck was the lump sum.

It’s not very effective…
DO NOT do the lump sum- It takes 60+ days to get paid out. Continue with your bi-weekly paychecks
That depends if you have early payday or not
