I heard December 5th from one of the VZI guys.
VZ India is garbage. Don’t take any ownership and no work ethics. Pure politics. Their main goal has/is always been to impress Shankar and Kalyani. Both are culprits to shift jobs from USA to India. They should be fired immediately. There are lot of Shankar gang here onsite. Everyone is horrible.
Good. Those teams add no value, garbage code, can’t even access proper systems…

D-Hact the man, actually said in his email, we need to reduce our Outsource and third party labour costs, dramatically..
Some of my colleagues read that as, re-insource.. I spat out my coffee.. thank god I want wearing a white shirt, and said no to me, it sounds like either, where is cheaper than India, or oh wait, I am spending $20 million on education and retaining for affected employees… aka feed an LLM with their data. Job done.
Probably laying off Verizon India direct employees and hire more India contractors e.g. HCL.
