Exactly this. Medtronic CEO's main goal is to squeeze as much profit as possible before bailing.
One could argue most of the talent left already. I’m not saying this to be a troll, but most people I respected have left or have absolutely given up and show up barely engaged with a lack of ethics/morals. They’re just phoning it in because they’re so tired of the constant fight to put patients first.
Remote jobs are still out there. Just a bit harder.
I had coworker leave for a remote job and get 25% pay bump. They would have been ok with a 3day rto. Good for them. Got what they wanted and $ as a bonus.
If you’re looking remote, look at companies HQ in California. They are still hiring talent remote, because it’s cheaper than paying CA rates
How can you use your talent if you’re in the house not bringing innovation at work? Are you just a desk person?
And they cut the health insurance so that ExCom and Senior leadership can get their bonus regardless of their performance
@bh and then the rest of us have to work harder to make up for their slack..at the same pay!
Personally I know some few people who stay for the paycheck and does the least amount of work possible
Please...this is just one more reason added to the long list of why motivated high performers move on as soon as possible.
But leaving where? Other companies are doing the same thing and outsourcing many of our jobs overseas.
Funny post. Where can you go these days? Any important companies are implementing RTO. Just work as prescribed 9-5 M-F. Collaboration and winning. Not sleeping in late and whining
