@s8 def beverage. Don’t know about frito, but I would think so. So many dif rumors…one being overall restructure, another - combining frito and Pepsi-one salesman instead of 2, another warehouses being branched into 3 party, another is division reduction. Closing warehouses, combining locations, Putting all presell on Pepsi direct. Dec 8 will show you .as miserable as it is there, people need jobs. Not me, but I feel for those that truly need any of these jobs being eliminated.

I was told by a reliable source 12/8 and the main focus will be the elimination of duplicate roles.
@n6 They won’t get rid of the Senior Leadership Club Members. They’re already protecting themselves.
I can’t imagine they would restructure beverages. They just did a restructure, but the company is in free fall so anything is possible. I just hope they get rid of the senior leaders that have no real responsibility and make bad decisions.
At this point I’m ready to volunteer!
@OP is everyone going to be told to work from home and cancel all travel? Or are we talking about people actually being walked out of purchase building?
@ef yup great point. Should have phrased as "customer supply chain collaboration analysts", some of whom do still travel to customer locations sometimes...but that probably will be one of first things cut soon. Especially foodservice where it's not even just on the shelf but just in a warehouse.
@b3 Hate to say it, Sales is being replaced with AI and Automation. The days of relationship building with clients have come and gone. Clients just want their products on the shelves.

That’s I heard as well. Seen many times in different threads. It’s going to be a long 2 weeks but we all can manage through. What’s waiting on the other side must be better than the absolute craziness we deal with everyday. Unless something changes drastically this company is doomed by its own design.

@OP someone had posted a while back likely there's email late the night of Nov 30th, based on historical pattern. Probably right. Maybe the comments on dec 8th week is all cuts to be finished by then and people out of the buildings
@OP hope they cancel any travel in advance. Really su-k for any beverage or Frito commercial or sales people to be laid off while at a customer office, retail or foodservice. Then again this leadership really doesn't care do they.
S&T has had multiple restructures this year
