And where is the humanity in understanding the stress this is causing most employees on a continuous year round basis. Prior to cs and team, there was one a year and then people can focus again. No wonder there is a quiet quitting epidemic. The way they do it now is wrong and deceptive on every level. Yet townhall after townhall emphasizes transparency.

Love the integrity of planning mass layoffs now "in response" to FRB comments that won't even take place until next month. This justification smells like an excuse, not a reason.

We know that "headcount reductions" are coming, because "we still have more inefficiencies" than our peer banks.

My point was that additional cuts here might not be as news worthy, with the next meeting scheduled 3/21-3/22. Not that they would be offering incredible economic commentary…lol

Usually it’s the 3rd or 4th Thursday, not the first. That’s been the pattern, anyway.

1st Thursday of the month! Let's all sleep late and see if any of our relatives call to tell us they heard on CNBC that we got laid off!

uh, next Fed meeting was today! .25pt increase and Powell says more to come, markets closed up.

March 23? How about the Ides of March? What about St Paddy's day, green blood in the streets!

Need to get a grip people, way too much credit is given to these tools in the C-suite. They couldn't read the economy with Google translator. Read the Wells Fargo economists

Guessing because it’s right after the next Fed meeting. Focus will be on Powells remarks & the stock market reaction.

Why 3/23 for big layoffs? What's so special about that date?
