If I’m on loa right now, how do I get notified of a layoff? Do they just wait until I’m back, call, email?
surgery and just want to know if I should be worried about getting any notifications from management?

Call from a manager 1-2 up, doesnt matter what type of leave of ab
I know someone who got laid off on 12/01/22 while on LOA. Manager up 3 levels made the call to her that evening.
Or you'll stop receiving paychecks and they'll assume you'll figure it out.
More than likely, you will receive a call.
