Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Comp opens today - good luck

Comp is open and managers can generate comp statements although can't communicate until HR sends the ok email later this morning. Wishing everyone the best, I'm sure there will be plenty of posts later about 1% merits and 5% merits, plus promotions at 20%. Merits I am a little dissatisfaction, but bonuses look good for my team and are the same if not higher than last year's.

When my manger communicates comp--he will act as if it's coming out of his pocket--he acted that way for our end of year lunch. A real passive/aggressive power hungry man.
But, I am hoping for some good news..

HR is in the same class as meteorologists. You can be 100% and still have a job

Managers are waiting for the green light from HR. Must be nice to be in a department with absolutely zero accountability.

Just got off a team call with my manager she did not even know when comp discussions were. I swear they only hire the most incompetent managers in my department.

Still no numbers and the other poster that said statements can be generated is wrong.

Is anyone surprised this dumpster fire of a company can't even get this right? Typical cr---y leadership from the top down on just about everything.

HR might be the worst department at this place.

managers can generate statements and the numbers look correct, they just aren't supposed to communicate them until HR gives greenlight. some managers may still verbally communicate under the caviat it may change until greenlight is given.

I heard something similar to the dei only getting huge bumps. That makes it hard for the regular people doing all the work to make ends met

Is the 5 percent going to be built into the merit for a good surprise?!

HR screwed up the file, so numbers are delayed

The fact that they need approval to discuss something that’s been decided for them and originally started months ago… says a lot about a lot of things.

I do not miss being a manager for this place.

Wells would be the kind of place where HR feels the need to send an “ok” email after already providing all the information to managers.

There is probably an employee who only works one day a year to send that email.

Anyway, I hope bonuses are the same or up from last year.
