I’ll go first:
- pay 2022 taxes owed
- put the rest toward paying off student loans if interest resumes if not, invest it
I’ll go first:
@1iff. It would have been done if the party of no votes for it. Instead they want to cut Medicare and Social Security and give tax cuts to the wealthy and corporations while failing to renew things like tax deductions for child care credits and mortgage interest that average Americans use.
Apparently you got their talking points on your favorite TV channel this morning.
Probably going to the south of France this summer with my bonus. I’ve already accumulated enough miles for a free round trip after having a free round trip to rome last September. It’s been a busy traveling year for me!
I left WF just over a year ago, and I'm looking at a strong bonus and raise from my current employer so for those concerned about little to no bonus or layoffs, you have my sympathy.
I'll be using my bonus to:
Save for retirement and some landscaping.
Don’t assume there are bonuses.
Major home repair, family vacation, pay down student loans, put some in my oh sh!t fund. Yep middle age is super fun.
Why would you pay off your student loans when Sleepy Joe said he is going to forgive them? Believe him since he never lies :)
What bonus ? Retail? Commercial? CIB?
Take a vacation, probably buy some furniture, save some. Maybe some new tires for my car.
What can you do with a couple grand after taxes? It’s insulting when Chuck receives multi million dollar bonuses and 20% pay increases. Meanwhile, the rest of us get tiny merit increases that cause us to earn less because they never ever come close to keeping up with inflation and bonus amounts that are laughable. Disgusting.
Dishwasher and savings for recession
Probably my best bonus yet. These layoffs in mortgage have helped focus people in. I'll take a vacation to get some sun, invest a little, save a little and pay off my EV. If this keeps up, I'll be in a good spot going into next quarter. Well done Chuck!
What bonus?!
Buying a few new guitars and a custom LearJet.
Xoxoxo,
Charlie
I’m paying my 2022 taxes and I am paying off one bill and I am banking the rest for the inevitable
All going to bills once I get fired for not RTO'ing since I was never in an office to begin with.
Adding an extra shot to my latté. Should just about cover it.
After tax, I can uber to office and buy a burger during lunch for one week.
Nothing. Worried about the economy this year.
Be glad you are getting any bonus.
Who is bonus eligible? Asking for a friend.
Our group (tech) was informed that our bonus was being used to fund a 5-7% salary increase.
I'm paying for a family vacation, putting 15% into my 401k, paying the taxes I'll owe this year, and buying a carpet cleaning machine. Middle age sucks haha.
Buy two dozen eggs instead of one.
Fund kids college 529s, 20% into 401k and invest the rest.
Passports, plane tickets, and the rest is saved for moving expenses
If I WAS bonus eligible -- I'd take a vacation
