Capital 1 just got rid of the entire Agile IT Team/s approximately 1200 people. Which company is next to give up and move on?

Our "leadership" needs AI because they haven't got any regular-I of their own...
We can safely add AI and "quantum computing" to the list of things WF thinks we need to waste time on, or at least mention so we don't look like the dinosaurs we are.
Sitting in yet another idi0t1c "agile" meeting right now. 12 people attending. Scrum master talking and talking, liking the sound of his own voice. Only 2 people regularly give updates, one of which is me. The other 9 people are just "there" for reasons unknown and have never said a word in the years this has been going on.
Total waste of time. And I've got 2 more meetings today just like this one...
Capital One is not the first to pull back on Agile. Several other companies tried it and then moved on. WF is a year behind, so we're still full steam ahead... that is, until there's another leadership change.

sounds like they are just finding ways to cut out overhead. doesn't say they are giving up on Agile. doesn't say, for example, they are getting rid of scrum masters.

What is an agile IT team and what do they do
You can bet WF will run this stoopid idea into the ground, like so many other things. No one will take responsibility for dragging it out because it might look bad.

Agile is another fad like Six Sigma , BPM and Lean. It will disappear when the next fad comes along.
