With an obvious coming recession, sometimes it is best to stay put for now. Better to be laid off with 6-8 months or more of severance than be a new hire somewhere else and get laid off with 2 weeks severance.

Fearing for career with health concerns and not having protection when a medical event happens, lose yrs of service for PTO all by being the subject of a scheme to be forced out, laid off or worse case fired, after over decade of hard work, promotions and excellent reviews. Subjected to mgt with lack of leadership skills that lied to get where they are and hired people to support their lies and agendas to only cause harm to the business, employees and ultimately customers by their sick agendas.
I started looking when someone I’ve worked with for 5ish years confided in me they began seeing a therapist specifically about work. I asked them how they found a therapist, had considered it myself, and they told me someone else we work with recommended the therapist!
Once this coworker started seeing the therapist they were diagnosed with PTSD! The therapist also told them that they see more than a half dozen WF people and all of their patterns are similar. Overworked, overlooked and, in some cases, mentally abused by their management. Lied to, set up to take blame, never appreciated and no matter how much they give or do, the demand is always more.
Couldn’t agree more. I’ve never been sicker in my entire life physically and mentally.
Agree, but they think "it is always easier to hire young workers from India and China, sponsor their H1-B, than to hire anyone local"
You will be so much lighter when you leave. Had a dinner over the New Year with old coworkers and those of us that left looked 10 years younger! It was startling.
This place is isn’t worth it.
