@1shf+1kKXGavw Not yet for Correspondent. Told to expect by the end the quarter. Still have pipeline to work.

Just got the Jester's email. MTL, "move the lines" being postponed. "We have identified additional reviews and analysis" sounds like a di-k dual.

And we all get pi---d on!

"Lester the Jester"

He gets attention for being a successful black executive, yet I know of no one who actually likes him.

No one will get laid off until Bonus is paid out but before increases kick in. Would think Feb 9th ?

I know I am not the only one who thinks like this... ask for volunteers! I would volunteer in a heart beat. For me its going to be laid off or RTO whichever occurs first. This is a bunch of C*** to prolong this.. just do it and be done with it and sit back to listen to the sign of relief that's its over and we don't have to wonder from week to week what is happening or if it will happen to me/you this go around.

There is a major MTL involving Operations and many groups who support Operations as they are moving under Lester the Jester. Most of the time if the move is high on the reporting structure, they just move those few reports over to the new group and layoffs are done by the new leadership afterwards. This time however some layoffs will occur at the same time as the MTL because of clear duplicative positions in Lester's world. Part of the delay is due to some attempts at "cherry picking" staff that HR objects to.

Perhaps the first step is to make the announcement and just see how many you can scare into leaving on their own. A lot cheaper.

I have been here 20 years - lord please lay me off! Almost a year without pay would take me right to retirement. I wish they allowed people to volunteer.

I’d love to know what’s going on here. This has all been handled in an incredibly bizarre way. Why WF would imply they’re not going to focus on non bank customers I have no idea.

Tuesday is the best day for laying off employees (all things considered), with Wednesday and Thursday being the second-best days. Never on Monday (too abrupt) and never on a Friday (long weekend ahead and binge drinking is a real concern.)

Heard they were worried about impacts of LO’s Operations MTL because of big impacts to RCSA, so it was paused

What in the world is this move the lines operation?

I’m sure it’s a bad idea, but I want to know if it’s 4D type of a bad move

Who knows. Apparently, a major Move The Lines activity in Operations & Non Operations for Consumer was postponed from January to TBD. Maybe they will reduce the bloat before playing corporate chess with reporting structure. Although not likely as that would require decision makers to have a significant amount of planning, organization and knowledge - all of which is lacking these days.

Has anyone heard tomorrow is going to be yet another layoff Thursday?

Amusing that execs think being laid off from this shithole would be upsetting.

They especially like to do it on the Thursday before a holiday with three-day weekend (so Monday is off). Extra cooling-time, I suppose.

Doubt if HR could get it together that quickly. My guess would be next month.
