Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

One more RTO topic!

Upvote if you are supposed to be in 3 days but have not gone a single day since last March. I have probably gone like less than 10 days.

I’m in COO as well, but I discovered my group is looking at this weekly. My manager explicitly talked about the days I’d been in the office during a certain week recently, and mentioned exactly how many days I’d been in that week. “I see you were in the office # days that week.”

And I’m nearly 100% certain that my group is not tracking hours in the office on a day.

@1oqo, I see you totally missed the point. If you retire before age 66, you will pay prices based on Cobra. "As you approach retirement, you should evaluate all the health care options to you, such as coverage available under the Wells Fargo & Company Retiree Plan("Retiree Plan"), COBRA continuation of your active employee coverage, coverage available through a working spouse or partner, or coverage through the public or private market place.
HSA-Based Medical Plan
You:$973.30
You+spouse:$1,946.60
You+children:$1,751.91
This is the cheapest plan based on 2022.
I'm not here to debate, just to educate and yes I've been working there over 20 years.

@1bln, my gosh. What is wrong with you? There is 10 years of service and at least 55 years old and you can retire with medical benefits until you hit 65.

I think you are looking in the mirror at the foolish party. Get a grip.

What retirement criteria, there is no retirement outside of your 401k? The insurance if you leave before 66 is Cobra prices. Let's stop being foolish on this. As for RTO, the full directive will be published tomorrow from a technology perspective which I'm sure will mirror other departments as well.

I don't plan to go back into the office. I will let it play out as it will. I was trying to make it until July to meet a retirement criteria, but I don't care anymore.

I am so tired of unnecessary bullsh!t.

CPG needing jobs is a contributor to RTO.

No office, no CPG needed.

The previous post about sleeping at your desk all day rings true. Do whatever you can to have your in-office productivity numbers inferior to your WFH numbers.

Corporate Property Group created an RTO report - it is real. It depends on your leadership as to how it is enforced or not. I am in CPG and can tell you our leadership cannot shut up about the report - you can sleep at a desk but as long as you sleep three days in the office you will keep your job. If you are a superstar and do not come in you will be gone. Or if you are from JPM then you are gold as well.

Corporate Risk received a communication that said it is like any other requirement (professionalism, attendance, other expectations). If people don't comply it will be a performance issue, and can lead to termination.

Your bonus is going to reflect your adherence to the RTO requirement…not good

The COO team calculates averages over a few weeks (rolling 4 or 5 I think). The manages are expected to have a conversation with employees if they aren't complying. Scott doesn't care about employee engagement and is the most distant executive in the world.

Do the reports exist or have we simply been TOLD they exist? The answer is it doesn’t matter if they don’t enforce anything. I have no reason to doubt my management when they say they haven’t seen these reports but have been told they exist.

I heard SVB loud and clear say 2/3, anything else your manager is wrong. But I have yet to be told by my leadership to abide The Dude. Beyond that it has been said by my manager she mentioned she was going to enforce RTO on date X to her manager and was told to go east and standby with that directive.

They are definitely on a report. It just depends how your LOB uses it. Eventually I'm sure they'll get some more aggressive feedback to get them to come in. I've already heard some LOBs receiving stronger language, mainly Powell's team.

I have not returned to the office. I do not work with anyone on my team and I deal with people in other time zones all day. Manager called me to say I was on the report and I needed to go in 3 days a week and the next steps are corrective action. I plan to leave Wells Fargo on 2/3/2023.

@tly: OP here. In fact I am wonder the same.. I have never been asked by my manager.. there was no mention of report or anything when I asked him. He said try to go in 3-2 days because that’s what they are asking. I am still trying… 😁

If what you saying is true, where is the reporting that everyone is talking about? How come you have not been asked by your manager or let go because of no -compliance?
