I used to like Saul. but honestly as I keep watching his AMAs I realize he is a master doubletalker.
I rarely get anything of value from him anymore.

It's because the message is absolutely muddled. To take it flat out as you stated it requires levels of assumption.
He stated his stance 2x in that meeting. The first time at the beginning of the meeting he actually listed a 4th possibility along the lines of "there are permanent people working from home." Well who in the F is that? I know multiple employee's who are listed as "remote" with no office but they also have no telecommute agreement so are they who he is referring to? Is it employee's who have new telecommute agreements? Is it schmoes like me who have locations but have not been directed to go in and have been WFH since hire date?
In his second RTO explanation of the meeting he left out the permanent work from home option and followed it up with "if your manager tells you different they are wrong."
So SVB is the only correct one and my 1, 2, 3 ups are all wrong because they are telling us "no you don't have to go in!" Something isn't right in OZ Dorothy. I don't feel like any of my chain would remotely be placing themselves at risk of being let go or have a bad review bullet by passing us bad info in writing just to placate us peons.
Saul answered RTO again and it hasn’t changed. Managers are three days a week. Agile teams are in for certain ceremonies and he listed them out. Everyone else is 2 or 3 days a week (or more if you want. Lol). I’m not sure why this message gets confused by people. I hear the most bizarre folk tales about how someone heard from someone how it really works with RTO. I would need a matrix chart to figure out their explanation of how it’s supposed to work.
There’s nothing magic folks, just listen to what Saul has said every time and follow.
i was being serious. I guess i should not ask a straight up question to get an answer and people complain about WF. Some of this comes from the culture of smart asssses that can just answer a question.

He is such a liar about RTO. He says one thing, then he says something else - and it is almost in the same breath. And he puts his head down when he is saying it! He is such a bad liar.

I commend you on your honesty but it took you long enough to figure it out.
And that's the biggest problem w/ Wells Fargo team members. Too many are willing to keep their heads in the sand and pray that everything goes back to how things were before.
