Payroll deductions

Management here, do yourself a favor, check your payroll deductions.

I'm being charged for the work spouse premium, where I specifically declared that my spouse didn't have work benefits during enrollment. And, no deductions for Dental and Vision, plans which I did enrolled for.

I called the benefits center, navigated through the multi-layer screening and finally getting connected to an agent. "Your call is being disconnected, the number you reached is no longer in service."

When a company fails at the most basic functions, time to leave. I'm investing my time sending out resume, so should you.

OP here, I finally spoke with a benefits agent on Jan 9 to remove the spouse surcharge. Guess what happened on the Jan 20 payroll? Surcharge is still on it. On the phone again and "we are experiencing longer than normal wait time". If you id--ts get things right the first time, people wouldn't be calling in at all.

Vendor is alight worklife, another winner selected by your awesome executives.

I didn't even get the correct health insurance. Thank God I checked on the 31st and was able to correct it. Thanks btw AT&T for the $550 plan which was the only one that included all our providers, didn't suck, and wasn't an HMO. I LOVE not getting to have an HSA this year. 😡

I believe dental and vision are taken out on the second paycheck of the month, but I’ll make sure to check that on the 20th.

I got something in snail mail confirming my benefit elections, and an email that says:
"Please visit the AT&T Benefits Center website at www.att.com/benefitscenter to review, retrieve and/or download your enrollment Confirmation Statement. Your document is being held in the 'Your Secure Mailbox' section of the website for the next 365 days."

See what that says.

I'm retired now but when I worked I received my Heath Care thru SBC and enrolled my wife, a spousal benefit.
My wife is a Physician & thru her Professional Medical Organization she enrolled herself and employees in a medical health care plan. She had to join to get coverage for her employees.
Shortly after, SBC sent out notification that if she could get coverage by an employer then she would have to pay to cover her thru SBC.
I ignored the notice while SBC kept sending me this so since she was her employer I checked no employer coverage since she was her own employer and I depended upon my coverage. Me, I had coverage thru SBC, coverage thru her practice and bought
Blue X coverage because I HATED & DIDN'T TRUST SBC.
