Thread regarding Medtronic Inc. layoffs

Neuro RIF

Confirmed, Irvine just laid off 30+ workers in 1st and 2nd shift. Will be seeing more in the coming months when volumes get reduce. Management did not annouce ahead. Too bad for the people. Ofc management did not care.

Looks like Irvine is just for RND, they develop new product, start production and slowly send it to other country for cheap labor. Neuro has a lot of potential but due to poor management, talents are being wasted. People are being tasked to hit as high as 300% labor efficiency to cope up with the low demand and volumes. Then the reward? You will be doing 4/5 days a week or you will work 3 weeks in a month. Job security here has gone downhill. Good culture, good benefits. But with the current management, its not worth staying.

Expired patents and lack of innovation. Competition is fierce. Tell us what’s new with NV? Elliott says good bye NV.
