Transition Agreement

    Amy Tu leaves her role as Target’s Chief Legal & Compliance Officer on May 21, 2025, with her job officially ending June 1, 2025. She’ll receive her regular pay until then, plus 24 months of income continuation (~$3M) and up to $30K in job placement support.

  • Pros for Employee:

  • Cons for Employee:

In terms of bodies buried? Like TGT is cooking the books or just Amy Tu knows all the poor decisions leaders at target have made. Like why would anyone really care to pay someone $3M to shutup?

I think bigger issue is us losing $20B in equity value as a company...3

Heh.

After some discussion with ChatGPT about WHY she was paid 3 million smackers after just 11 months, it summarized it with:

"She knows where the bodies are buried".

Yeah, now I get it. All the little dirty secrets target sweeps under the rug? The Chief compliance lawyer knows all of them. THAT'S why they get these sweet golden parachutes.
