Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Will CEO be let go in 2026?

Will BoD replace Stankey? We all see huge decline in the stock value, stagnant innovations and network rollouts, stagnant cNPS, artificially driven Q results driven by soft layoffs, no obvious acquisition ahead and all time low employee morale after forced 5 days RTO....

@fc i see your point, however, look at apple and tmobile, they were able to hire disruptive CEOs in the past and advance... sometimes it is important not to pay dividends and invest, take a risk

Of all the post topics I always find the ones calling for Stankey's removal the most off putting. Reason being a new CEO is NOT going to fix this situation. The board has been perfectly fine with all the H1B business and off shore positioning . Whoever they bring in will march to the same drum.. Watch and see. This is not a Stanley problem, this is a fundamental ethics problems down to the roots of the business. The company just needs to slip beneath the waves and just go do business in India.. That seems to be the country they want to support anyway . They are just over here over charging Americans to support their play house they call center of so called excellence. Total play on words with zero truth to it. Thats why they read scripts .

“ The BoD is just as mediocre, non-innovative, no-vision as Stinky and his fa-t lickers are“

It’s astounding to me how many of you don’t seem to know that Stanley himself is Chairman of the BOD.

Most failed CEO of AT&T history, still not resigned until he will be kicked out. 2026 is for sure his last year. He doesn’t deserve any more years. Specially after his unfortunate comments about AT&T employees after employee feedbacks.

Don't change CEO now. The company is heading in the right direction.

They found the dirtiest loophole - make life miserable so people quit instead of getting severance. It’s not savings, it’s self-destruction. The best people are gone, and what’s left is burned out and doesn’t trust them.

Sure, the rubberstamp board of which he is the Chairman is totally going to fire him.

No. Not yet. It will come in some way or another, but there is simply too much driving into the ground that needs to be done yet. Driver further into the ground, grab golden parachute, leave the mess for someone else to clean up. The BoD is just as mediocre, non-innovative, no-vision as Stinky and his fa-t lickers are. It's all about bleeding ATT dry.

No, he said he’s not worried about that question when asked during the 3Q earning report meeting. Guy is a psychopath and obsessed with control.
