I was identified for an Enterprise Skills Assessment. Is this a hint for a future layoff?

It isn't the big deal people here make it out to be.
@OP No, just meant to make sure each team has the right mix of talent and skill sets. I've done one before and wasn't fired after
You know why you have to fill it out? Because Bill is the CEO and says so, that’s why.
I asked recently laid off people, and they were not asked to take one at the time of layoff.
Likely just part of the required HR strategic workforce planning cycle where leaders have to create action plans for skill gaps (i.e., train and upskill staff).
@ay that’s false. I realize some of its team dependent, but Truist has vastly more opportunity than the other big banks. You just have to 1) stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself 2) provide value outside of your normal job responsibilities 3) turn your camera on in meetings and prove you have good ideas by actually speaking up
@av You are an id--t. There are ZERO opportunies for advancement regardless of a skills assessment UNLESS you know someone or you are an attractive woman that the boss wants to ogle or a younger white man. It's a sad truth.
@av rather large skill gap at the EL level
Get a grip, not everything is sinister. They are genuinely trying to find thematic skill gaps to see where we can improve
Yes, freshen up the resume. Even if it isn’t, freshen up the resume. This place is toxic.
@OP i would update the ole resume.
No. Lol everyone in my org had to do it.
