Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Keep up the good work!

I don't have a lot of context and I can't go too into detail without giving myself away. I recently overheard a discussion. One party in the discussion was in a leadership meeting and an anonymous site "full of toxic complaining" was brought up. I'm assuming it is this one. They probably won't change anything but at least they may see it when we tell them what awful people they are. haha

@g8 enjoy wasting your life working 16 hour days so that you can "do the needful" and get laid off shortly after.

That is how it is: Americans and Europeans complain here, while Indians do the needful and get ahead.

It’s just crazy in tech in general. Ridiculous amounts invested in AI - related infrastructure and software. Companies turning their product lines upside down to be seen as AI innovators.

This is a huge festering financial blister that is about to pop, and the leaders at nearly every tech company have put their eggs into a single basket that their customers don’t want!

Dotbomb redux here we come. I just wonder which of the companies fka “FAANG”, will be deemed to be too big to fail - And multiple government then have to bail them out?

@dt and likely they are too stupid to realize that subscribing to fishbowl requires an active SAP email account/address 🤦‍♂️

I don't think management reads this board. I found it by sheer coincidence. No one in my team or close to my team reads this.

So it might be Glassdoor or Kununu or some other well-known site where they found criticism.

They might be talking about Glassdoor....some very legitimate and thought provoking comments about the lack of leadership at SAP.

Did they mean an external site? If not then they could be talking about HPOM feedback. It didn’t get enough feedback but even after some colleagues propping it up with good feedback, it has less than 50% approval rating from the feedback givers. In any other company, that would be a moment of reflection for the board. At SAP, it’s just an excuse to double down on proving why it’s good and post more fake content on HPOM wins.

I was surprised to see comments disappear on some topics such as the SAP board and the AFD one. But then the annoying CK-fan and Chuck Norris comments seem to stay despite massive downvoting.

I often wonder if the board has people who glance at sites like this one to get insights into what people really think. Or if they even have some control and can make comments disappear.
