Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Buyer?

Who do you think the board will sell Verizon to after they finish looting it for all they can squeeze out of it?

Who would want to buy a low/no growth company whose share price is declining.

Cable companies already have a sweet MVNO deal with Verizon and a large chunk of their customers traffic is carried over their WiFi networks via VOIP.

Plus they are regional players and would not want to compete against each other with FWA.

Korvette's, Gimbel's, Sears, Alexanders, A&P, Blockbuster, Kmart, Woolworth's, and Caldor's are all looking to diversify.

Who got the cash that the ftc would let buy big V without chopping it up? Google Apple Tesla Microsoft all compete in some fashion and would have to break up big part of the business. Trump wouldn't let a foreign company buy a us. Maybe Palentar and make us big brother.
