This is human nature and is readily displayed in surveys where X # or drivers are asked how good of a driver are they compared to others. A majority of those questioned rate themselves better than the others. A statistically impossible fact.
It’s the exact same with employment here and is the definition of Freedom. We freely chose to be employed here, Wells has the legal right to change the terms of our employment at-will. Granted some changes require concessions from one side or the other but literally anything can be changed. And it is a simple mathematical calculation that when it is no longer in your favor you exit the equation.
The problem at Wells is that you have so many people who have been here far too long that they are institutionalized and have an over inflated sense of self-worth. So everything that we’ve lost was “owed” to them and now they are being cheated. Severance is “owed” to them as if it’s some bonus they earned. Delusional.
