@em,
Are you telling us from firsthand experience?
Anyone else feel like that when they are working in the office they are 3 times less likely to trust a fa-t?
@OP When I have back to back meetings from 6am until 2pm then starting back up at 6pm then no I'm not driving into the office.
@cw I retired in August 2023 which was about the start of the RTO push. Previously I had been 4+ years wfh and was much more productive at home than in the office. A big factor, I was able to contribute to many offshore project meetings or issues I supported and not have to resort to email ping pong I felt it should be up to employees' managers to determine if they were better suited for the office or remote. Also there were many progress reporting tools that allowed a manager or other specific team members to easily check their employees progress like Jira, Agile and ServiceNow.
Since I returned to office, my productivity has taken a hit. From spending countless hours in traffic to the struggle to focus with folks talking loudly in meetings in their open cubicles......I'm fighting back for whatever it's worth, I was hired on as a hybrid and the requirement was 3 days a week and I will honor just that. Enough is enough!
Where's the data?
Tell you what - ask LBT next week. See if he answers.
That’s about how it feels. Place is dead af.
