Our whole team is rto. Will the dress code be what it was when we were in the office pre covid? Many comments on here about the lack of janitors. How bad is it in the Minnetonka location? Are the restaurants still open?

Khakis or slacks and a golf polo is the norm for men. No one is wearing a suit or tie if their job is sitting in a cube all day. In fact, you would probably be looked at as someone actively interviewing elsewhere or arriving from
A funeral.

@d7 it’s really business unit dependent. Example: my department is packed with 28s, 29s and 30s that lead projects with 26s, 27s, 28s, etc from other teams but don’t have direct reports.
@d7 thanks appreciate that. I wonder if being a 28/29 with no direct reports has any sorta of a stigma attached to it.
@cs Hello.. In a nutshell, levels 26 and under are usually hourly with 27 and up are salaried. 28 and above are usually people leaders and staff under them. However, I do know someone who is a 28 and does not have folks reporting to them.
@a4 I have to ask, as I have been a remote worker going on 10 years, and never really knew as I have never really asked anyone, what exactly do the job levels mean? Like I hear constantly that 28 and above is considered high or manager level?
Im on the Optum side and went in for a few days and the floor my org was on was disgusting. The break room was filthy and filled with dishes covered in days old food. Trash strewn all over the desks, and none of the computer peripherals worked.
There was a Town Hall today where not one executive was in a suit.
With but a few outliers, no one dresses up in the office anymore with any regularity. Possibly if upper management is visiting, possibly if you have to be on camera. But otherwise, it is extremely casual these days. Many of us have managers in other states, so it never comes up.
Elsewhere in MN, we went from our custodial contractors being able to have two full-time employees (which kept the building immaculate) to about 4 hours a day to be split between two employees. Personal trash is generally only picked up once a week. Bathrooms can get a bit unkempt now and then. But the big thig is how slow it is to get things refilled.
We lost our in-building restaurant some time ago.
Just work as prescribed 9-5 and always dress one step up. What are you, 25 or 26? Bring lunch in and figure it out
