I was displaced, filed an ER grievance, and was then ultimately terminated after my Notice Period ended in a clear case of retaliation. While I'm pursuing legal action, trying to ascertain if the bank can now cut off my severance, benefits, damage my employment record etc. I'll know soon enough and will address accordingly, just curious if anyone has a definitive answer.

After notice period, all are 'terminated'. It does not mean fired. It means laid off in this case. If one does not sign the agreement, then one will have to use a lawyer for severance. As for retaliation, are you saying you were given notice because of a retaliation? If you have proof, then good luck if you are in a right to work State. They can still lay you off. Your manager may be fired for the retaliation but that doesn't help you.

"damage my employment record etc." - tell me you are institutionalized without telling me you are institutionalized. FFS ppl are durmmmmmmb. you make this too easy.
Are you positive it was for retaliation? You have an employee handbook that was already in place as well as a process-specific packet of information that tells you the conditions for severance. READ THEM.

@OP How do you know you were terminated after your notice period? Did you get something in writing from Wells Fargo HR? After the 60 day nonworking notice, you are officially terminated as you’re no longer an employee of the bank. However, you should continue to get your severance, and also have the ability to log into workday until your severance ends.
