Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

New Leadership and Hybrid

Has anyone heard anything substantial about a return to the hybrid model? As the new leadership from other companies has been coming to AT&T most of them seem against 5 day RTO. I know that my AVP up to my SVP truly don't care for 5 day RTO.

My org has already loosened the requirements.

We were strict 5 days.

About a month ago we were advised we could work holidays and weekends from home. In addition, we were told that if we have a valid reason WFH is an option.

I have not heard this officially but I’m hoping and assuming we will get further loosening soon. Seeing others indicate a 3 days in office requirement for next year would make sense to me.

@af f-u. When it goes back to 3 days, then you should still go in 5, super beta cuck

What new leadership? If anyone left or was let go it’s because they weren’t a “yes man” to Stink and his 1959 RTO policy. He’s only going to hire nodding heads not free thinkers.

Why are we doing this every day now?

People seem to have taken snippets re: “maybe” the PR won’t be as scrutinized going forward ( and THAT is very much dependent on workgroup you’re in) —- and are making the leap to some kind of reversal, or official decree on 5x8 being over . That’s simply not going to happen .

We get that you “want” it to happen.

Sir Baldenshire will never back down from 5 days. I understand wanting to dream / hope for it but it’s past time to accept the new reality.

Irrelevant. As long as Emperor Bald Dou--ebag I is running the show, no quarter will be given.

You can just not come in 5 days a week already. I haven't worked in office 5 days in a single week in probably 7 years.

8 to 6 core hours, 5 days a week RTO.

Easy for them to push the heat to Stankey. "If it was up to me" is a cop out that T managers learn day one.

Most don’t like 5 day RTO and would prefer 3 day RTO, but Stink is holding strong on 5. Until he’s gone there’s no chance.
