Just had one and guess what…. My workload just tripled
So it was worse than getting let go. More work.

Agree with others, if it's just last minute, you need to be worried, especially if meetings are not recurring and there is an HR Person.

@at my manager does 1 on 1 with everyone. Seems that this is a more recent change since Lyons came onboard. FB would never bother with this.

The enterprise guidance has been that managers are supposed to be having regular 1:1s with their folks, yours is probably just working to meet that expectation.
@OP Your manager probably found out you haven't done s h. i. t. all year and now wants to find out why.
You are probably fine, unless HR are also involved.
Usually it’s less notice than that but it is how it’s done. The full day notice leads me to think you’re fine, here’s hoping
