Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Bigger Layoffs Are Coming

After a series of layoffs that happened before Q4, there has been a lot of Kool Aid drinking. Get prepared for the big layoffs to occur in November/December. Management is loading up the workload on agents with expectations of completing tasks by the end of the year. After all of your dedicated labor, be prepared to have the rug pulled underneath you. This is the time to be searching for other opportunities. It is best to jump off the sinking ship and leave the rats behind. It is an unfortunate mess, and it will not change.

@bd

We all feel lucky when we land the job in a random Multinational company.

Then think we own our seat.

Make your team better while you are there. Or don't and waste your life.

Do you think you won the lotto and they're taking it away by firing you?

Develop good habits that people can see how good you are either way and want to look out for you. Or move on and don't.

All of these dramatic toddlers on TheLayoff/Fiserv talking about how the company will take away the spoon in your a-s. Who the fu-k cares it's a corporation LOL

I'm happy to earn a living while I have the job. All of you with a big spoon in your a-s are too coddled in life. If you are too pu--y to start a company, earn yourself a work ethic and always be learning. This company isn't a place to stress about, it is just a job. You fu--ing lifers need better things to do for real.

Make sense what they do. We need to meet our goals by the end of the year. We need to report good earnings for our investors and for us. Focus on what you can control. That anxiety on wether you will get laidoff or not will not let you concentrate, enjoy nor realize about your blessings.

@b5 There is no speculation. After being here for many years the pattern is rinse and repeat particularly at the end of each quarter. The last few years has been more impactful particularly now having a new CEO trying to help eradicate waste and better efficiency. Why do you feel that your position is safe? Are you in denial about this environment? Do you know who you really are working for and have full trust in the business?
