Any Philly layoffs coming any time soon? I've been hearing some rumors, but I hope there's no truth to them.

Its happening now. Lots of people losing jobs in the next month. And lots of people absolutely blindsided.

@cm not sure where they’re going to cut from divisions at this point. They’re still reeling from the last round in March

Yes. Unfortunately. Don't have all the details but there will be another big round coming. Plan is September but there are always delays with these things... Legal, HR, Finance everyone need to have a look before it happens. For TPX, more jobs will be moved to India (CIEC). HQ functions and Divisions will also take a big hit. Problem is that Comcast is losing customers in rapid pace. Video and Voice is in free fall. On top of that, Comcast will lose ~1 million broadband customers this year... Leadership was hoping that "school start" would be a great month and turn things around with the new pricing & packaging. Didn't happen. Customer's are not buying Xfinity broadband as they used to. They go to fiber, FWA and elsewhere...
