Larry gave us forewarning. He wants his AI to rule. And at the very least, you can't be a prominent AI company without decimating your own workforce.

As a former Oracle employee who has used their "AI" tool, I'll say it's alright but not as polished or as "smart" at Chat-GPT. The slack channel it-support is a joke with it's d-mb robot. At least someone figured out it wasn't working and changed it so that we wouldn't have to wait until the middle of the night or the next day for an answer from a human.
For anyone still living under a rock: Oracle’s C-suite got yeeted and replaced by an AI overlord. Step one: wipe out the old pros who actually know where the off-switch is. Step two: ??? Depends entirely on the flavor of its next hallucination.
