Another earnings call - same pattern. The company beat forecasts yet the market isint convinced. The leadership and board needs to realize that confidence isint being built - it’s being lost. The constant push of the “ai narrative” - every company is doing it and it’s no longer a differentiator. The layoffs every Q are even more concerning, trimming small numbers to manage optics may reduce short term costs but it destroys employee morale. If restructuring is needed - do it decisively and transparently instead of dragging it out quarter after quarter. There is great potential - it’s a great company - stop running it to the ground.
Your employees come first. And if you treat your employees right, guess what? Your customers come back, and that makes your shareholders happy. Start with employees and the rest follows from that.
Investors lost confidence in the leadership. Cutting staff and squeezing productivity is not the sign of a healthy, innovative company. Dump the CEO and all the expensive new executive talent he brought on and hire more technical staff. This is a technology company, start by reinvigorating technology. VPs with fancy degrees and AI will not drive innovation.
It’s such a constant spiral and race to the bottom. Senior leaders who know the business get side lined and fired. Only to be replaced by inexperienced VPs who haven’t a clue. Those VPs then fire the teams they inherited and so on and so on. A sh-tshow ..
